Aerial Acrobatic Career in the Navy Blue Angels

December 22, 2010 By admin

Sometimes, the best pilots in the world are those who never have to see combat at all. This is true for those elite pilots which are chosen to be members of the exclusive squad of pilots called the Blue Angels. This group of pilots fly all over the world so that they can show off everything that the United States Navy has to offer those who would like to join as well as to build patriotism in one of the branches of the US Military.

Get the Training

Before being able to even think about joining the team, you will have to go through extensive training. You will learn how to fly your jet through flight school as well as going through specialized training just for those who will be showing off their skills to the general public. This is perhaps the most intense, ongoing training in the existence of the military.

Get the Navy careers information you need to start your adventure by clicking here!

Wow the Crowds

The aerial stunts you will pull off will be some of the most dangerous and death defying feats many have ever seen in their lives. It is the job of the Blue Angel pilots to make near misses and tight formations look easy enough for anyone to do. The constant training will come in handy to make sure that the stunts you are performing for the crowds will not end in tragedy. Even if you do not make the Blue Angels, there are plenty of great flying careers available for you in the US Navy.

The Costs?

Don’t forget the years of training to be a Navy Pilot. Oh yeah, great rewards always arrives with great risks. Search for the latest aviation accidents online. Especially the ‘air shows’ around the world. Is it worth it to be a pilot? Absolutely… just remember, the costs are real but so are the benefits! Do your homework. Search online regarding military aviation training. Talk to former military pilots as they’re all around us today. Above all, do a gut check and honestly ask yourself if you have the mental ability to withstand the rigorous aviation training today in the US Military. It is second to none!
