Air Force And US Army PX Benefits

October 16, 2008 By admin

In the modern world, the US Army PX is one of the best traditions for savings that military Servicemembers have. The traditional PX is often ran by the US Army, but sometimes is also administrated by the US Air Force. The basic military style PX has been upgraded and revamped, and the modern Post exchange now resembles the typical user friendly large grocery and department store, where you can go and purchase items as a military Servicemember at just above cost. The AAFES is a military exchange service that is like most Post exchanges in that the profits that it generates goes directly into Morale, Recreation and benefits programs. As with all AAFES items the material and products you can access on AAFES Online are purchased at cost plus a small amount, which can realize you a large savings.

The main benefit for the AAFES exchange comes to those who live near one, either on base or near a base with an AAFES exchange. But, there are also services that are open to anyone even over long distances. This retail site is reserved exclusively for military users only, and you can use the site from anywhere in the world if you have Internet access. AAFES Retail Card: It can allow you up to $7,000 dollars of credit depending on your credit worthiness. It is a card that can only be used in the debt card mode at AAFES changes, but it still is a great benefit for those military Servicemembers that sometimes have less than sterling credit. This can be a great advantage because even if you are a Servicemember with poor credit you can sometimes qualify simply because you are a Servicemember on active duty, it all depends. This can be a great advantage because even if you are a Servicemember with poor credit you can sometimes qualify simply because you are a Servicemember on active duty, it all depends. This is a card that is available with a debt card option, or as a full version credit card option. The Air Force and Army Force exchange service is open to any active duty Servicemember serving in the Armed Forces of the United States. This can result in substantial savings on many items, and its is a direct benefit for anyone serving in the Armed forces on active duty.

I was honorably discharged from the Air Force and I hear that as a veteran I am now able to shop at the base exchange and the commissary. Is this true and if so how do I register to get an I D card or pass.
