I got a 52 on my electrical portion of my asvab line scores and a 48 on my mechanic. Would that disqualify me from getting this job?

I got a 52 on my electrical and a 48 on my mechanical portion line scores. Because my mechanical portion isn’t a 60+ would that disqualify me from getting this job? Just need to know because aerial gunner is my first pick.

My recruiter told my parents that as an aerial gunner until your in a senior position all you will be doing is watching doing on the aircraft and reloading Ammo is this true. How fast can I expect to be on an aircraft doing my job? Than you!

As an aerial gunner, you will be doing the same job as everyone else. It doesn’t matter if you are an E-5 or an E-9. If you are qualified ,then you are qualified. I have experience as a gunner (22 years) on both helicopters and AC-130 gunships. On an AC-130, there is a lead gunner and might be the highest ranking but not always. The deployments are long and often. Sometimes very tough on married individuals and single parents. Make sure this is something that you can deal with.
