A chaplain is a Servicemember who is a commissioned officer, who serves to care for the emotional and spiritual well being of soldiers, Airmen, and sailors. An Army chaplain can have a parish that consists of as many as 1,500 people, and they are responsible for the specific well-being and support for the personnel in their flock.
