Combat Arms Marine Corps Careers

The United States Marine Corps maintain the most elite infantry and combat arms ground forces in the world. In areas of training, professionalism, and success, the US Marines are second to none. The specialty of Combat Arms Marine Corps specialist career has a large sense of ?esprit de corps,? and this is common in the Marine Corps, and is not always present in the other 4 US Armed Services. One of the sayings is ?Every Marine is a rifleman,? and this is true from the very top US Marine Corps Commandant, down to the newest Marine Corps recruit. The Combat Arms infantry specialty is one of the careers with the most tradition and pride of any specialty or career in the United States Armed Forces.

There are several different specialities in the Marine Corps Combat Arms career field. You can serve in the Infantry, Artillery or the Armor divisions. Each of the different divisions work together cooperatively with each other and the other members of the Armed Services to fight and perform missions for the US Marine Corps. All of the Combat Arms careers in the Marine Corps have a long tradition of successful and brave service, and in each one, each that offer a rewarding career rich with tradition and training opportunities. No matter your job title, serving in the Marine Corps Combat Arms division is a very rewarding job that will give you a lot of training in discipline, pride, and organization. Armor- Being in the Marine Corps at a rule means that you serve onboard a tank. This is not always true, but the majority of the United States Marine Corps Armor are based in tank units. There are some Armor divisions that are amphibious assault based as a crewmember. Artillery Division- This is another option for serving in the Combat Arms division. You may serve as a field Artillery radar operator, and be responsible for helping find targets for the artillery to hit. Or you could tasked to be part of a field artillery fire control team., or serve as a field Artillery cannoneer.

Infantry- There are several basic infantry positions, rifleman, machine gunner, mortar operator, or even an anti tank missile operator. There are many different kinds of service in the infantry that is available.
