Best Military Credit Cards

Are you looking for a new credit card? Would you like something which offers extra benefits as a military member? If so, there are plenty of cards out there. You just need to know where to look. To help, here are a handful of the best military credit cards to consider this year.

USAA Cashback Rewards Plus American Express

For this card the USAA partnered up with American Express to give you one of the best credit cards in terms of receiving money back. You’ll nab 5% cash back on the first $3,000 you spend at the gas station or purchases made on base. You’ll also earn another 2% on the first $3,000 spent at the supermarket, and then 1% on everything else.

Navy Federal nRewards Secured Credit Card

Do you have a lower than desired credit score? Perhaps you are in need of a credit card but also want to rebuild your current score? The nRewards Secured Credit Card (MasterCard) is the card for you. This has a low APR, which is desirable. You can also earn points on every dollar you spend. There is a deposit connected with the card, so if you have bottomed out your credit score this will help allow you to open the line of credit.

Navy Federal Go Rewards

This card will give you a number of rewards based on going out and enjoying life. You’ll earn three points for every dollar spent at restaurants, two points on gas station purchases, and one point on everything else you buy. The card also comes with cell phone insurance (you can insure up to three phones). Just make sure you pay your monthly service fee with the credit card.

PenFed Platinum Rewards Visa Signature

Do you have a current balance you want to transfer over? If so, this gives you an intro APR of 0% for the first 12 months. This can end up saving you thousands of dollars over the year. You’ll also earn $100 credit after spending $1,500 within the first 90 days.

When it comes to the best military credit cards, each of these offers you something a bit different from the others. However, each rewards you for being a member of the military by giving you extra perks and specials. So, if you’re currently looking for a new credit card, make sure to keep these in mind.
