November 6, 2008 By admin

Kaplan University is located in Davenport Iowa, and it is offering a 10 percent discount for those spouses who have service member?s serving in the United States Military. This discount is available to both active duty and reserve Servicemember spouses. Kaplan University has over 100 different programs of academic learning, most of which are available to students who wish to obtain a degree online. There are a number of different programs available to Servicemembers who want to attain an education, or to use their Montgomery GI Bill benefits, but there are not very many opportunities available for the Spouses of Military Servicemembers.

It is comprised of many different elements including Concord Law School, and Kaplan Virtual Academy. It is a program that can offer certain types of degrees that may be applicable to military Servicemembers and their families in service around the world. Recently, a University based in Iowa decided to offer a discount for military spouses. The University offered the discount first on the same day that President Bush called for more ability to transfer GI benefits to other members of the Servicemember?s family. For those who are actually on active duty, any Servicemember who desires to attend college through distance learning also qualified for a discount, for as much as 15 percent off. This is for all military personnel serving on active duty either stateside or overseas, and can be accessed at any time. Kaplan is a regionally accredited University with a large online portfolio of classes; they are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and are a member of the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges. The Kaplan University is a university that offers both in person attendance and distance learning opportunities. Kaplan University is proudly part of the family of educational facilities that are located as Kaplan Higher Education. The admissions personnel at Kaplan University have an educational team branch dedicated to assistance with military personnel seeking to be admitted. They currently have over 38,000 student both on site and online, and they have eight campus centers in locations such as Chicago, Phoenix and Fort Lauderdale.
