Instead, you can find what you are looking for, plus much more, by using the internet. This is the best way to not only find free National Guard information, but to locate details that will help you make a final decision.

No matter where you stand with your decision, the more information and advice you gather the better off you are going to be. Some people know that they want to join the National Guard, but need to learn more about the process, which career path is best for them, etc. On the other hand, there are thousands of people who are contemplating this decision but want to learn more about this branch of the military before making a commitment.

The problem with this is simple: there is tons of information out there. From choosing a career to training and much more, you need to know which details are most important to you. National Guard Training

Everybody who joins the National Guard goes through training. It does not matter what career field you are interested in, this is where you will start. Basic Training lasts 10 weeks. Are you ready for this?

This will greatly determine the type of training that you receive, as well as the job that you eventually end up working. You want to choose a field and job that suits you well now and in the future. The training that you receive in the National Guard can help you find a job when you are done serving.

As you search for free information on the National Guard you will find that there are many career fields to choose from, including: Special Forces, Interpreter/Translators, Administrative, Engineering, Military and Signal Intelligence, Maintenance and Mechanical, Logistics Support, Transportation, Military Police, Medical, Aviation, Armor and Field Artillery, and Infantry.

Within each career field there are many jobs. For instance, Aviation is not just Aviation. Can I make money in the National Guard?

Most people do not join the National Guard to make money. Instead, they do it for the top flight training and the chance to serve their country. That being said, you are going to get paid for your service. Some people avoid calling a recruiter until they have their mind made up because they don?t want to be swayed or pushed into joining. This is not common among recruiters, but is something that you should definitely keep in mind.

When you finally decide to schedule a meeting with a National Guard recruiter, make sure you have a list of the questions that have been on your mind. This is your time to get all the right answers so you can formulate an opinion on how to best move forward. With a recruiter in front of you, every question is fair game. They are more than glad to provide you with accurate answers.
