Hey Nicole! My husband and I are stationed at Camp Lejeune. There are so many different ways to be "part" of the military community! When you get married, I suggest doing the LINKS training. It is an incredible cla$$es that gives invaluable information about opportunities, a$$istance, and the basic ins and outs of the Marine Corps lifestyle! And after you're comfortable with the life, try the Key Volunteer Program. We're responsible for keeping the wives in the unit up to date on any events and ESPECIALLY what's going on during deployments. Not to mention, you generally meet some great women that are all sharing the same experiences you are!
