An Air Force Prayer
Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord
My flyguy to keep
I wonder as we look up
Are they looking below?
We miss them so much
Will they ever really know?
But time is winding down
The countdown is on
And soon they'll all be back
In our arms, where they belong
They've missed so much
It's hard to believe
But things get better
With time, as we see
So tonight, we thank you Lord
For these brave and prideful men
And we just ask that you
Bring them home safely, once again.
