Probably not the best idea in the world... But I guess soldiers need an email address too. I think it is probably simply a case of individuals out there who are unaware of the fact that free email accounts are available, or simply have no idea of how to obtain one. Would this be a freedom of speech issue or a conflict of interest issue? Surely all branches of the military have those who lean both towards republican persuasion and those who lean towards democratic persuasion, as well as independent etc. Not sure where I stand on this, but it doesn't seem to make good sense to use an email address such as that to send messages such as that.
