Locating Your Nephew
There are (5) Marine Bases in CA - they are:
Camp Pendleton Marine Base - north of Oceanside
Miramar Air Station - San DIego
Barstow Logistics Base
San Diego Recruit Depot
Twentynine Palms Air Ground Combat Center
You'll have to get on-line and google each base - this will help you locate each of their web sites - once you get into the web site locate "contact us" It should be on the front page - click on that and each base should have a "Marine Locator" phone number that you can call.
