ya we were lucky because i had went to the navy 3 years before and i already knew a lot so it wasnt crazy when he left. (we werent married when i left) and my grandfather is a retired army col. so that helped a lot too.

also before you leave, so today! get powers of attorney for everything, finance, health, general. get durable powers of attorney usually you can find these online for free, if you cant i could email you some. have them notarized by a notary at your bank and then file them in you county courthouse. otherwise your wifes hands are tied, she cant do anything with anything if its in your name.
