Default Citgo Gas Stations

In a small town just west of me, a Citgo gas station is owned by a local gal. The town board of selectmen made a motion to stop doing busness with Citgo because Chavez had insulted President Bush . Citgo is a subsidiary of Venezuela's state owned oil company.

Do we take this far and stop doing busness with local people who own there store? Do we boycott only the ones in big cities?

I boycott all Citco just because of Chavez, so I think we Boycott all of them.

Last year members of the Penobscot Indian Nation visited Chavez in Venezuela and cut thier own deal for ***istance to tribal members. They invited Chevez to Maine.

Last year Citgo donated $5.5 million to Maine for use by state low-income Home Heating ***istance

Where to we draw the line with Chevez?? I don't know.

War on terror, or is a war on our people due to cost of fuel.

I agree that if you boycott one, you boycott them all. You have to go all the way with stuff like that or it is pointless.

That Chavez is turning out to be a tough nut to crack.

I strongly agree with you. But if your going to come down on one, then you'll have to come down on all of them. Not only will the stations suffer, but the owners as well;regaurdless of (US-citizens) or not. Everyone will pay the piper!

A lot of world leaders not to mention many US leaders have insulted Bush. SO should we boycott every business that those countries and US leaders are part of?
