Default B2 Stealth Bombers

I live in Missouri, but nowhere near a base. Yesterday there were 2 or 3 Stealth Bombers circling over our area, for over an hour.. then they seemed to circle further south and were out of view. There is no air show in our area, so I'm just curious if there is a location where we can find out what they were doing? I'm not freaked out, just thought it would be interesting to know exactly why they were there. A friend of mine in NY said he also saw them, but not sure if that was yesterday. I know they cost quite a bit of money to fly, so it seems they must have had a purpose for spending so much time in the area. They were flying separate patterns from each other, not together.

I would appreciate any suggestions

Wow - we all would have loved to see them too!

Hmmm - to find out about them, not sure. Possibly these two sites might get you started: www.af.mil and www.defenselink.mil - they both are FULL of information and ways to contact different departments about different issues. If you find out about their flights, let us know what it was for!
Good Luck!

Thank you WackyChick I emailed Whiteman AFB, I believe they are stationed there. Who knows, they might tell me. We're just more curious than anything else, as we never see them here. Especially not for that length of time. I'm sure they buzz over now and then while headed from one place to another, but they were definitely hanging out yesterday. My son is now determined to watch from our windows again today, to see if they come back. He's obsessed

I'm sure that it wans't nothing major because if it was we would know about it. I don't worry about others coming across that line because we have fighters who dont even allow it.
