My husband and I have donated to them several times over the last few years, however there is now a Civil and a cla ss action lawsuit in progress against them for miappropriation of funds.

Apparenlty hundreds of thousands of dollars have not made it to the families that were supposed to be as sisted, and the organization is unable to come up with records as to where the money went.

Just a heads up to anyone that may have donated to them or was considering it.

I actually heard about the lawsuit the other day and I was totally surprised that people would take advantage in a situation like this. Lawmakers need to find out where that money went and how they are going to go about trying to retrieve it, if possible.

I have been donating my corporate services to Operation Homefront and have asked them about this matter when I saw this post. They have indicated there is no such suit that has been brought to their attention nor do they feel this information is accurate. They just received a 4 star charity rating by Charity Navigator and have had three straight financial audits that all came out clean.

Do you have any proof of what you are claiming here and if so, can you provide written proof of such lawsuit? If there is a lawsuit pending somewhere, the do***ents should be available to the public if you have the information about where it was filed or something to go on. I would really like to verify. Forum posts just aren’t enough. I want concrete proof.

I trust them until someone provides solid proof of these accusations, but I would definitely like to look into it further, so I can make an informed decision about continuing to offer my services.
