Default Backpacks

The Military have to walk sometimes 5 miles with a 100lb. backpack, how are you supposed to walk forward with a backpack pulling you backwards? What about hikers climbing a mountain with a pack trying to pull them back down? And children carrying heavy packs filled with books on their under-developed backs. The outcome of carrying backpacks is serious back/spine problems.

Sometimes I wonder what sort of price my kids will have to pay for carrying around the heavy backpacks that THEY are forced to use in school. When I was a kid in school we had lockers and we had plenty of time to go to those lockers to get what we needed for the next cl***. Both my kids (almost out of high school) have carried backpacks since they were in 1st grade. Now as older kids, you wouldn't believe how much they weigh. they all walk hunched over when the come in and out of the school and it has always concerned me. That is my 2cw on backpacks!
