Whoopi Goldberg is sending good wishes to her "Ghost" co-star Patrick Swayze.
Goldberg said on "The View" that she hasn't been able to call Swayze since learning he has pancreatic cancer, but she says "we want you to feel better and we'll talk soon."
Goldberg pointed out how Swayze is the only one she remembered to thank when she won her Oscar for Ghost. She says she wouldn't have won the role or the Oscar if Swayze hadn't insisted that she be hired to play Oda Mae Brown.

Someone had mentioned something to me last night about Mr. Swayze and his condition, how devastating is that? You know he has showered us with such great movies and he is such a talented actor to watch on the big screen that you can't help but feel connected and saddened by the news of his diagnosis. I'm definitely a fan who will be cheering him on in the background with many thoughts and prayers always!
