Default Where can I report a possible leak of military information?

This is my first post here. I'm retired U.S. Army Reserve (retired May '06).

I happened upon the following website which contains information which, if authentic, is probably cl***ified and might place our soldiers at risk, and I'd like to know how and where to report this: 66 TRANS CO (WCNXAA) - Wikileaks

As you can see, it purports to list the equipment, including number and type of weapons, of the 66th Transportation Company. The page also includes links to what seems like all sorts of military information, such as
* US military units in Iraq
* US Military Logistics
* US Military Equipment in Iraq (2007)
* US Military Equipment in Afghanistan (2007)

I have no idea if the info is authentic or not, but if it is I think this needs to stop. I don't mind spending my time to pursue this further, and this post is just my first step in trying to find out how to do it. Any help will be appreciated.

Incidentally, I find it very amusing that I can't even use the word "CLAS SIFIED" (above) without the middle of the word being edited out. What the heck???? Surely there is something wrong with the program; ferreting out profanity and vulgarity doesn't go THAT far, does it?

If necessary, anyone can contact me directly via billvelek (AT) alltel.net (just fix the email addy).

Thanks.

Thanks for that heads up sir! Unfortunately we have no power over what is posted on other websites that are owned and ope***** by other individuals, and we are not affiliated with the government at all, but are a privately owned recruiting web site. if this wikileak info is something that you feel should not be public, we would respectfully suggest you consider contacting your local congress person, or regional command for the appropriate branch of the military to get the ball rolling. Apparently this wikileaks site is specifically for just that - leaks. Please let us know if anything comes of this. We hope you visit again and participate in our forums with us. We love having experienced military personnel give us their two cents worth!

ps: and thanks for serving our country in the military!

Bill, the phone number for them is 202 657 6222, fax : 866 904 4598, and email is : editor@wikileaks.org .

Usually, on a site like that, there is a contact us option and you can click on it and get the information you need. I also reported it as a violation.

Wikileaks has been taken down! They went too far in their efforts to be whistleblowers and a division of the business that was being targeted was able to pull enough strings and have the site taken down.

At least temporarily anyway... I understand that they site itself is still running on servers outside the US.

Another interesting development - the organization's hosting center in Sweden was also struck by a denial-of-service attack, after which a fire erupted in the center as well. Hhhhmmm.....

I'm not sure I agree with the mere existence of wikileaks - whistleblowers that have true issues can find legit venues for their problems without having to place their trust in a site like wikileaks. Wikileaks seems like more of a place allowing disgruntled individuals to vent and/or rant than a true "watchdog" entity helping people with real problems...

Who put Wikileaks in charge anyway?

just my 2cw!
