I am going to be 43 in july, and I am going back into the infantry. You havn't seen your 20's for a couple years, but I havn't seen mine for a couple decades...LOLConsider how you feel, what you want out of life, and what you can do. Don't worry about the numbers. Some MOS's travel a lot, and some travel very little, but if you are careful to choose one you will enjoy, you can go far. Don't just go by the job descriptions; get on some of these military forums and talk to people who have done the jobs you are considering. Good luck young one ![]() |

Today is the day I go and get TAPE. The last time I was tape they told me my neck was too small and my hips were too big. My BMI was 39 and I believe it has to be fewer than 30. I'm 5'6 and 205 lbs. Any suggestions on how to lower that number fast. (w/o any diet pills.) Thanks in advance.

If you are joining the military, you do need to be able to run. Its also great for weight loss. You might as well start increasing your running so it will be easier for you later. Some people even learn to like it. If you don't know much about it, Runnersworld.com is awsome and has a lot of free tools to help.
Eat more often and don't skip meals; you may have to make meals smaller, but eat often. good luck |
