Fugitive Marine indicted for murder

I don't know how many of y'all have been following this story But I myself, have caught bits and pieces of it. It's about Cpl. Cesar Laurean and his colleague Cpl. Maria Lauterbach, whose remains were found along with those of her fetus in a fire pit in Laurean's back yard. Earlier on in this story I heard someone mention that Ms. Lauterbach was bi-polar and was a pathelogical liar or something to that affect. I guess she had accused him of raping her. Now my question to y'all is? How could one remain friends with someone that they have accused of raping them let alone go to there house? This whole story is a bit bazarre for me. I normally like to ***ume things but in this case I'm not even going to try! What do you think?
