Those PETA people don't know what they are talking about in this case... those jockeys love those horses and would know instantly if the horse were injured during the race and would have pulled her up... The horse finished the race and suffered from a freak occurance that does sometimes happen. Horses are just as likely to seriously injure themselves while playing with each other in a pasture.
