Arrow McCain Hauls in $15 Million In March

The month of March was good to John McCain – his campaign raked in more than $15 million, his best haul of this election cycle.
But his two rivals for the White House, Democratic Sens. Hillary Clinton of New York, and Barack Obama of Illinois far outpaced that total. Obama, in fact, raised more than Clinton and McCain combined.
McCain, R-Ariz., spent the entire month of March as the presumptive Republican nominee, after his main rival for the party's nod, former M***achusetts Governor Mitt Romney, dropped out in the middle of February. He won enough delegates to make that nomination all but official on March 4, after winning big in Ohio, Texas, Vermont and Rhode Island.
With his nomination sewn up, and the Democrats still battling on the other side, McCain has been free to focus on fundraisers, often doing 7 to 10 per week.
Full details of McCain's March numbers will be filed later this month.
