Exclamation question about usmc

I joined the Marine Corps and hurt my back. I was sent to Medical Rehibilitation Platoon and was sent to sick call. The doctor put me on full duty but I was not sent back to a training platoon.I was discharge later for mono.I was at a DEP meeting where a drill instructor was there and he told me that I should have been sent back to a training platoon to continue with recruit training.I told my senator who then let the Marine Corps change my re code from 3p to 3f.Does anyone know anything about MRP and what happens to recruit who get put on full duty? How does re code get change without a request for one.
