Mailing List

I keep on getting alot of mail from the Army. I tried calling them to get my name removed , but they said they can't due to various reasons. If this is true, are there any ways to make it stop? I have no intention of joining the Army, and I wish they would stop sending me all this junk.

Often there is no official "mailing list" persay - from what we understand, "lists" are bought, and are sometimes outdated. Often individual recruiting offices purchase these lists, and for instance you could possibly be receiving mail intended for someone that used to live at your address. Or it could be originally intended for someone with your name in your area, but they somehow got your address on it. Just throw it away when it comes...

Im an Army Recruiter. When you were in highschool, college, any type of school that gets federal funding is required by law to give your contact info unless you sign a optout when you register. Once your name is on the list its on the list. Just get it and toss it. Its just mail.
