I'll be graduating college in 2009 and plan on joining the Army as an environmental scientist officer in the Medical Service Corps, I am 6 ft tall and weigh 216lbs and I have about a 35 inch waist, does anyone think I would have trouble getting in??? I'm also a little flat footed, is that a big concern? I use arch supports sometimes when running to help it out..

You can exceed the weight requirements, as long as you are below the bodyfat content requirments as they measure it.
You can get an idea of how you are doing by using the Bodyfat Content Worksheet available on APFT.net. Good Luck on the weight loss. |
