Exclamation Failed twice What Else Can I do?

Hey everyone I've been trying to get into the military for about 2 years now and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what I could do?

I was born with a skeletal problem with my wrists where I cannot supernate and Pronate them ( its very difficult to explain but I'll try) Pretty much if you extend your arms straight out and turn your wrists so that your palms face the ceiling, and you can turn them back so they face the floor. I can Make my palms face the floor but I cannot get them to turn to face the sky. (which sounds alot worse than what it looks like) in any case I have medical do***ents and tried to enlist into the Airforce first, (p***ed the MEP's Physical, and the ASVAB) but I was disqualified by the surgeon general, So than I gave up and about 8 months later I decided to try the army so I went through the paper work and found out I did have medical Background on it. So I got the medical paperwork with the doctor saying "I have no reason why He wouldn't be able to join the military". again I was disqualified by the surgeon general. And I ask for suggestion on what i can do to get into the military ( no offense But I don't think I've got the stuff for marines, or the navy). I've been wanting to join the military all my life and I can't win myself in, My career I've prayed and hoped for all my life is waving me goodbye. Does anyone have any suggestions of how or what i can do to get into the military? I Thank you much ahead of time.

That really is a tough situation...A REALLY tough situation. Isn't there some way you can appeal directly to the Surgeon General with all the other medical opinions you have? Sometimes it seems that as much as they want volunteers for the service, they sure make it hard for them sometimes. I will ask around the office about this one and let you know if anyone has any ideas... Good Luck

I agree with Wacky! Your best bet is to try to find away to appeal directly to the surgeon general. Other than that, I don't see how this could ever happen for you. Good Luck and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you :-)

How exactly Do I appeal to the Surgeon General? Do I contact my Recruiter and talk with him about it? and What exactly is Appealing to the Surgeon General if you don't mind me asking?

Thank you so much for responding so far I really do appreciate it.

Well all we mean by appealing to the SG directly is to take your case (your information about the situation at hand) right to him - find out who keeps denying (quote from your post: again I was disqualified by the surgeon general) and contact that office and individual directly if possible. Good luck to you!
