Angry what the HUH?

When i was 17 i joined the marine corp. best move i made. but instead of looking at what would set me up for life after the service i said all i want to do is shoot the 50 cal. so thats what i did for 4 years and i got my honorable discharge and and went on my way. it's been about six years since then and i am still young enough and healthy enough to re join the millitary so now i want to go back in to a career that i have a skill in such as a network engineer or a computer spea******t but every branch of service i talk to treats me like I am lower than dirt becuase i got out and now i want back in. the air force said well we 9 jobs for you to choose from and if you didn't do that exact same job then you can't get in what am i a lower body because i pulled 4 years as an infantry man I just don't get it

If you can't or don't want to do one of the jobs like you had before, do they want you to "start over"?

Default I dont either man!!!!

hey man you did what you thought was best at the time. maybe it wasnt now that you look back on it, but dont give up because then they win so stay strong. i dont think that you are lower because you pulled out, you made a desicion based on yourself and now you want back doing what you love. but if you dont get to do what you want to do then are you going to try to get back in anyway? keep your head up and things will work themselves out! take care.........
