Am I too old?

Greetings.

I am 44 years old.

Prior service - CTR3 in the USN from 1984-1990.

If the max age cutoff is 39 - and I have 6 yrs prior active service...could I squeeze in?

And the answer is....... (drumroll.....)

Thanks in advance - I'm ready for the bad news....

First of all......which branch are you looking to get into?

On the Navy side of the house your chances are VERY slim unless you are talking Reserves, which is only slightly better.

Prior service Navy are not in demand as the active Navy is OVERMANNED in MOST of the ratings.
