Laser Eye Surgery

I have always wanted to be a pilot however my life is music - love music...I got some addvice from a friend of mine and he asked me why I can't do all three and that got me thinking...so now I want to be a helicopter pilot for medics, however, last time I research military recruitment stuff, I found out that because I have gl***es that I would need to get laser eye surgery and then I couldn't be a fighter pilot - does this mean that I can still fly like transportation of bombers or be a flight medic pilot or can I just not fly?
