Default Confused Novice!

ok....i recently graduated with a ms. electrical engineering.

I would like to join the military......i prefer thru the army officer candidate school (OCS). My goal is to develop my skills in the army's engineer corp or the signal corp......i prefer the signal corp bcos am into computer networking and stuff..............

Am 30 yrs and I have already taken the ASVAB test.........Am told the age limit is 29 but that can be waived.....My recruiter encourages me every time we meet, to simply enlist as an E3/4....that is smthg basic.....and then transition into OCS after completing my AIT and getting my first permanent duty station job post......this route is easier he says and it will not affect the number of years of the contract i initially sign.....during the transition into the OCS.

Please, what is the best route for me to go....both financially and skill development..........thx
