Default Task Force 158 Providing Security

Central Arabian Gulf - The 110-foot U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Maui transits alongside the USS Harry S. Truman in the Central Arabian Gulf April 10, 2008. The cutter Maui, originally homeported in Miami, Fla., is one of six U.S. Coast Guard patrol boats ***igned to Patrol Forces Southwest Asia in Bahrain as part of Combined Task Force 158. The Coast Guard units conduct maritime security operations that help set the conditions for security and stability in the Arabian Gulf, help protect Iraq's sea-based infrastructure and help provide the Iraqi people the opportunity for self-determination.
