Default Coast Guard Locates Missing Boy

Members of the Coast Guard Cutters Mustang, Alex Haley and SPAR ***isted Alaska State Troopers and the Bear Creek Volunteer Fire Department in locating a missing 4 year-old boy near Bear Lake north of Seward Wednesday night. The boy lives in the Bear Creek area about seven miles north of Seward. He was reported to have wandered off. The Bear Creek Volunteer Fire Department was first to respond followed by the Alaska State Troopers. The boy was reportedly dressed in black sweatpants, a black sweatshirt and a green ball cap. After about two hours of searching they were just about to take another Coast Guard group out to conduct additional searches when they got the word he'd been found, alive. The Coast Guard were not sure who exactly located the youth, but the boy was in good condition with no injuries. He has been returned to his family.
