Coasties Support TV's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

Coast Guard members from District 8 and from units in the New Orleans are seen in the background as Extreme Makeover: Home Edition design team leader Ty Pennington tapes part of a program that is scheduled to air Sunday, May 18 at 8 p.m. on ABC. The Coasties recently supported the filming of the upcoming 2-hour season finale episode for the television show. The episode recognizes the many heroes of the Hurricane Katrina response, including some of the Coast Guard folks who responded, and also celebrates the 50th state that the show has visited.
