Default New Navy Ship Built With Steel from Twin Towers

Today in Louisiana, a new Navy ship was christened. The ship was built with steel from the World Trade Center ruins in New York City. Named the USS New York, the ship bears a shield with 2 gray bars to symbolize the Twin Towers and a banner that reads "Never Forget".

Thousands of people attended the ceremoney, including many relatives and friends of victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Read the whole thing here - it's a great story and a great thing to do in memory of those who perished.
