Default A Sailors Fiance I have questions

Hello All,
My name is Angela and my fiance currently left for basic on May17th. I am very excited about that. After basic training he will be going to groton, ct for almost a year for his schooling.
We have already made plans for me to move out their during that time and I had a friend who said that I will not be able to move out their while he is school. I wanted to know if anyone knew anything on that.
We will be getting married in Groton, Ct shortly after I move out their. I just don't know how all that works.
I am very excited about him joining and just looking for other Navy wives and friends to talk to and keep in touch with.

I'm not sure why there would be any restrictions on what YOU do especially before you guys are married. If he is in school and lives in base housing or something like that, and you are wanting to live with him there, that might have a bearing on it. There is a huge amount of info at a couple of sites called www.navy.com and www.navy.mil - see if you can find something useful there that might help. Good Luck!

You might also do a little Google research for the Navy Ombudsman organization. They are an organization that helps military families get settled.
