Angry Veteran's Living in Filth

I recently saw some news stories about some local vets who were living in filth in run down homes and trailers in our area, who were not getting their money from the VA that they had in their accounts. Once the local news stations got involved, they got their money and were able to fix up and clean up their homes and get themselves back into a decent living situation. I'm curious if this was an isolated incident or if it happens with any regularity anywhere else? Someone let me know. It shouldn't be this way!

I have seen articles and news stories about the way veterans are treated in this country and it sickens me. Look at the situation at Walter Reed.

I saw this story on CNN, there are lots of such Veteran's who have not been paid since the Vietnam war. Most have either died or retired. Veterans realy have tough life if they dont they backup from their family.
