Making a Difference as a part of the US Navy Intelligence Specialist Community

March 3, 2011 By admin

The United States Navy is one of the few branches of the military which engages in the espionage and counterespionage of all the different transmissions from different forces of opposition. It is the reason why the planes and sea vessels are loaded down with gear to listen and recover images of different terrains. When you are a US Navy Intelligence Specialist, you will be a part of the rich history which is involved in helping to protect the nation.

What You Will Do

You will help to listen to and interpret different messages which are being sent between different foreign nations. You will pass along any material which needs to be translated or decrypted. This will help you to be able to pass along sensitive information which the troops on the ground and in the air will need to know about to stay safe. You will also help in looking into certain areas in which missions have been planned to make sure that the troops will know what they are going into.

I am a prior service Active Duty Army Military Intelligence 35M, Human Intelligence Collector. I learned from the very beginning of my very sensitive, dangerous, and fast paced lifestyle that dedication, motivation, attention to detail, integrity and giving 110% at everything you were assigned to do played a pivotal role and launched my career forward. My role was very important and gathering information and sending that SCI information to my higher echelons was vital and critical for neutralizing threats and saving countless lives and most importantly, protecting my loved ones, the land of the free, and most importantly National Security. Even though my military career is Classified, I hold my head up with pride knowing I made a profound impact serving my country and my sacrifices were not in vain.
