Maritime Marine Academy Education

The United States Maritime Marine Academy offers an education that helps to train the future officers of ships and vessels on the high seas. It is a training academy that offers a four-year college education, and their education academy training can lead to a career on the high seas, or one serving your country in the United States Military. It is a four-year educational training program that has offered college education and training for over 50 years to young men and women in the United States. It is a school renowned for skills, seagoing knowledge and experience, discipline, and it has been the chief education facility for many of the leaders that have gone on to serve their country.

The college education offered by the United States Merchant Marine Academy is as fine a college education as you can receive anywhere in the world. They offer a program that is challenging and rich in science, mathematics and the arts, as well as providing training programs and apprenticeship opportunities during the summer month that offers students a chance to receive practical seamanship training in addition to college educational training.
If you are looking for training or education aimed at learning about the seas, or leading to a career in the military, one place to seek it is at the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
People who graduate from the Maritime Academy serve their country in the U.S. Forces Armed Service, or go on into merchant marine or civilian maritime careers. The successful graduates of the Merchant Marine Academy have gone on to become leaders and captains of industry, as well as going on into politics, the sciences, and into military service. If you look at a map of the world you will observe that a lot of the surface of the globe is ocean. The need for trained and qualified individuals to serve as Officers on large ocean vessels and ships is ongoing, and one of the sources for these trained ocean vessel officers is the United States Merchant Marine Academy. Its graduates are college educated and receive practical training that gives them the skills and knowledge set to serve aboard different vessels and ocean going ships around the world.

The graduates of the US Merchant Marine Academy are an important resource to our nation, both in peacetime and during times of crisis. Their training and education allows them to serve our country as leaders and officers that can staff the US Merchant Marine and commercial ocean going vessel fleet that our nation relies upon.
