Relationships between US Military and Pakistan under Security

November 5, 2007 By admin

In recent events, the General for Pakistan, General Musharraf has stated that his county is under a state of emergency, with all of the civil unrests that are not in juncture.

As a result of his live news coverage that he had this past Saturday, the relationships between the US Military and the Pakistan military are now under great scrutiny and will be reviewed at once. Gen. Musharraf also stated that placing such an injunction on his country would place the relationships with the American government in jeopardy, which is often volatile for both parties.

This statement that the General held on Saturday comes one day after talks with US officials who stated that such a movement of emergency would cause much distress and can harm the governmental parties in the Pakistan area. US military officials were against the emergency, and urged the President to think otherwise for creating peace once again in his country. Due to the live statement that was given on Saturday, the US military must now review where they stand with the Pakistan government and military, and have stated that now the US military actions from here forward will be at great risk.

As a result, there is a need for thorough reviews and investigations into the further involvement of the US military with the Pakistan government. There is now concerns that terrorist extremist will take advantage of the civil unrest in the country, which can cause great harm to both the Pakistan government, its military, as well as all of their allies, such as the US military.
