Servicemember Army Enlisted Benefits

October 3, 2008 By admin

One of the best types of employment in the area of benefits is enlisting in the US Military. It is a type of employment that gives you a guaranteed income, as well as a host of different enlisted benefits. The kinds of benefits, and the amount you receive from joining the US Armed Forces is hard to duplicate in the civilian world. When you join the Army are benefits that would be hard to duplicate in the outside world, with a job or career. The main thrust of importance for the Army in modern times is its personnel, and the Army has come to realize how important that it is to keep its people in good spirits. Because of this the kind and variety of benefits available keeps being revised and increased, enlisting in the US Army is a very lucrative career choice.

Every person who service in the Armed Forces receives Four weeks off a year, with pay. You can arrange leave and take off to anywhere you like for 30 days, and then still be able to receive full pay and benefits while you are on vacation. Most companies do not allow 30 days a year for a vacation, rarely does the first year of service have 30 days off with pay, but the Army does. You can check out all the different benefits and education opportunities, but it is well known that it is lucrative to join the military if you want to get help to pay for college. As a member of the Army you are eligible to use the full Montgomery GI Bill. There are benefits both for when you get out of the Army, and Tuition Assistance and Army benefits for education while you are still serving on active duty. If you like to travel and you are patient, then you can use the Armed Forces Space Available method of transportation, it is free on a space available basis for use by Servicemembers. Another lucrative Army benefit is the ability to have 100 percent Medical Coverage. This coverage is specifically designed to give complete coverage to the Servicemember and their dependents, and their family. It is designed to provide for all of the medical needs for the Servicemember, for their family, and to keep morale up.

Part of this is making sure that people who join the Army have a number of benefits to help encourage enlistment and also to retain people to re enlist. As an enlisted person in the Army, you have coverage for yourself, and for your dependents. Most of the time all families are covered under the TriCare health military plan.
