Steps To Becoming An Elite U.S. Navy SEAL

June 2, 2009 By admin

So you think you want to become a United States Special Warfare Navy SEAL? Well, the Navy has a challenge, and if you are up for it then you can participate in the training the will reward you with SEAL Team membership when you are done. However, be warned, this is not for the faint of heart.

United States SEAL team training begins with more than 12 months of initial training ? followed by an additional 18 months of pre-deployment training. It is training that will take you from where you are at now, test you, challenge you, and even pushes you to your limits, and if you are successful, you will be a qualified Navy SEAL, something most people only dream of.

Currently under United States Law, only men are eligible to apply for the SEAL program. In addition, there are specific Steps you have to take to apply for the SEAL Team Special Operations program. Some of the qualifications include: Be a U.S. citizen. Be 28 years old or younger. Meet the minimum Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) score.
Pass a diving physical examination. Meet specific eyesight requirements.

After you join the United States Navy, there are some physical Tests you must pass.

So if this doesn?t discourage you, contact a Navy Recruiter and discuss your options for a possible Navy SEAL team training enlistment.

But don’t take my word for it. Check out how Navy Seal training can change your life forever here. Good luck!
