Graduates Renovate Community And Expand Their Training
There have been several hundred vocational students trained by the Coalition over the last 18 months. These students have learned about electrical contracting, wiring, masonry, Carpentry, and a number of other industrial issues.
The student attended classes at the coalition ran Iskandariyah Vocational Technical School, and the students know how valuable that training is. Now, many of the Vocational students that have received training there are urging that the school offer advanced training and refresher courses.
These students are pushing for further training, because they have been so successful with the training that they have received. They seek more training, and want to help make such type training a reality, and are willing to help make it a reality.
Many of the former students are urging the school be expanded, and renovated to allow more students, and expansion of the facilities to allow the expansion of the programs.
They all are volunteering their services and want to create a groundswell to further their efforts to increase the training and services available there.
Only one course was offered before 2007, then there were slowly more courses offered, until the current level of 18 classes with 1,250 students enrolled at any one time.
The former students seek to increase the number of programs to offer additional advanced type training in the different vocational programs.
