Note: Non citizens who are legal immigrant in the United States and have unexpired green car, just contact the nearest Navy recruiter in your area. If you don’t have green card you are not eligible. For Filipinos in the Philippines, the US Navy stopped recruiting since 1992 when it closed its recruiting station in Subic Bay.

The US Navy stopped recruiting Filipino citizens in the Philippines since 1992. After the US-RP Military bases agreement has been rejected, the US Navy closed its recruiting station in Subic Bay., The only way you can enlist in the US Navy is if you can come to the US as a legal immigrant.

  52. william Fallejo says

    February 10, 2019 at 8:22 am

To all: US Navy enlistment for Filipino citizens in the Philippines stopped in 1992 after the US-RP Military Bases Agreement has been rejected. There is no current plans by the US Navy to reinstate the program. Be aware that the only way that you can enlist in the US Navy is to come to the US as immigrant (green card holder). If anyone tells you he or she can help you enlist in the US Navy, that person is a scam.

  53. Freudian Fernandez says

    March 23, 2019 at 6:27 pm

US Navy enlistment of Philippine citizens in the Philippines was terminated in 1992 following the abrogation of the US-RP Military Bases Agreement of 1947. So the only way you can enlist in the US Navy is to be an immigrant/green card holder in the United States.

  54. Fred Fernandez says

    June 3, 2019 at 3:24 pm

Enlistment in the US Navy in the Philippines for Filipino citizens ended in 1992 after the US RP Military Bases Agreement was rejected by the Philippine senate. You must be a legal resident in the United States with green card to be eligible for enlistment.

If anyone tells you they can fix your enlistment in the US Navy in the Philippines, that is a scam.
