Which Military Branch Is Right For You?

September 9, 2016 By admin

Deciding to join the military is a huge step. All to ask, which military branch the best? Every military branch has its own unique features. All to ask, each military branch is unique to each personality, individual goals and talents. Now, check out which branch you want to join. Here is a summary of the service branch options available in today’s US Military:

Army
As the oldest branch of the U.S. Military, the Army protects the security of the United States and its resources. It is the largest of the military branches and maintains a strong ‘ground’ game. However, they have some of the favorite toys that fly in the sky like the Apache helicopter. Such aircraft provides strong ground support.

Army Reserve
The Army Reserve trains part-time near home until needed, deploying alongside the Army. The reserves are perfect for someone who has a full-time job at home but would like to be available to their country in times of need.

Army National Guard
Army National Guard members deploy with the Army on a part-time basis, with a special focus on homeland security and relief programs.

Marine Corps
The smallest branch of the U.S. Military, the Marine Corps is often first on the ground in combat situations. The Marines are extraordinary faithful and usually the first to hit the beaches during battle. They are very physical and one-on-one considered the most strenuous training.

Marine Corps Reserve
Marine Corps reservists train domestically until needed, then deploy with the rest of the Corps.

Navy
The Navy defends the right to travel and trade freely on the world?s oceans, and protects national interests overseas. The Navy offers strong technical training as well as solid aviation careers. In the last decade, the Navy SEALS have captured much of the public eye following the killing of Bin Ladin. Due to ISIS and other terrorist groups the need for special forces training to America’s allies continue to abound. Unfortunately, terrorism is likely to be around for a long while.

Navy Reserve
The Navy Reserve trains servicemembers close to home until they are needed in action.

With little argument, the Air Force offers superior aviation training and the one branch that runs itself like a corporate 500 organization. All to say, you cannot go wrong by going in the direction of the Air Force.

Air Force Reserve
The Air Force Reserve gives servicemembers the opportunity to train and serve on a part-time basis, as needed.

Air Guard
