Which Military Career is Right For You?

July 1, 2009 By admin

You can become America’s finest by joining the military. You can choose one of 5 branches of the military to join.

1. Army careers?the United States Army is essentially made up of the military forces that are ground-based. There are aircraft used, as well, but the bulk is ground-based. The Army is the largest branch of the military and an excellent choice.

2. Marine careers?the Marines are a department of the United States Navy. These soldiers are typically delivered from the sea to the beach in combat situations. They’re a mobile fighting force, with a proud tradition.

3. Navy careers?the Navy is primarily made up of soldiers on ships and submarines. This branch of the military is the sea fighting force. Navy SEALS are some of the most elite soldiers ever trained.

4. Air Force careers?obviously, the Air Force is a primarily aerial fighting force of highly skilled pilots and soldiers.

5. National Guard careers?these soldiers are active members of the military who live civilian lives, attend regular training, and can be called to duty at any time.

Are You Interested in Travel and Learning a Professional Skill? There are career fields in the United States Army Reserves and National Guard for YOU! Click HERE for Details.

All branches offer military careers that can turn you into a highly respected and skilled soldier, and educate you in fields that you desire.

Bottomline, do your research! Call your Navy recruiter. Talk to your Army recruiter. Visit your Marine recruiter. Go online and read all you can about each of the military branches. If possible and once you’ve narrowed your choice to one branch, visit that branch’s military base. While there, talk to service members and ask a ton of questions. They’ll be honored that you asked them. Lastly, pick a military job that will offer you lasting job security long after your military service. Good luck!
