1 – Enlistment incentives could help you earn as much as $40,000 dollars in signing bonuses, $37,000 dollars in GI bill benefits for education and more. If you score well on a test known as the AFQT, you could potentially increase your GI Bill education benefits to as much as $71,000.
2 – Earning enlistment bonuses may require a five year or six year enlistment rather than the typically four year enlistment, but these bonuses can easily climb to $40,000.
3 – If you are going to college or have been, the military may be able to help you repay your loans. The Army offers as much as $65,000, while the Navy and Air Force will pay as much as $12,000.
4 – Accelerated promotions are offered under several different methods, including if you have college credit or a degree, if you refer friends to join or if you were or are a boy scout or girl scout.
