Here is a quick list of 4 bonuses that the United States Army offers to qualified applicants when they list for certain periods of time.
4 – Education Bonus: When a qualified applicant enlists for a period of two years or more in any Active MOS (Military Occupational Specialty), he or she may receive bonuses based on civilian education, including an $8,000 dollar bonus for a Bachelor’s Degree, $7,000 dollars for an Associate’s degree, $6,000 for high school graduation followed by 60+ college credits or semester hours and $3,000 for high school graduation followed by 30 to 59 college credits or semester hours.
3 – Civilian Skills Bonus – Qualified applicants that have civilian skills needed by the army, such as a foreign language, may earn a $3,000 dollar bonus.
2 – Airborne Bonus – Individuals that enlist in airborne training and receive a guaranteed assignment may be entitled to a $3,000 dollar bonus.
