Teens are often roped into joining the military at the thought of shooting things, guns and explosions. While these aspects of military recruitment do exist, it is not normally on the level that high school teens seem to think. 1 – Many teens join the Army because they are under the impression that they will be automatically taken care of for the rest of their lives.
– Many teens join the Army because they are under the impression that their education will suddenly become completely free after they enlist.
– Many teens join the Army because they are under the impression that they can choose any job that they like while they are in the armed forces, regardless of qualifications.
– Many teens join the Army because they are under the impression that they will not necessarily have to see combat during their term.
– Many teens join the Army because they are under the impression that it isn’t as hard of work as it is, and they are expecting something more comfortable.
