Here is a quick list of 5 ways that the Army pays off when it comes to vacations and other similar incentives. This list is proof that the Armed Forces does aim to take care of their Active Duty soldiers.
5 – 30 days worth of completely paid vacation are earned by the soldier on an annual basis, and more vacation time may be accrued for special circumstances depending on the individual solder.
4 – Soldiers working for the army have weekends free from duty, allowing them to spend this time with friends and family or however they see fit
3 – Soldiers are allowed to celebrate national holidays, which do not require them to attend work
2 – Soldiers in the Active Military are allowed to take sick days as they need to, and medical assistance is provided on base for ill soldiers.
1 – In some positions within the Army, weekends are considered to be paid leave rather than simply days off. The same is true for National holidays, which are paid as if they were normal work days.
